The Air Force (AFLCMC at Tinker AFB, OK) is preparing an acquisition for B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) production modification kits and interim contract support. This is a presolicitation with a draft solicitation and industry days; no proposals are being accepted at this time. Technical data is controlled and requires DD Form 2345 and JCP registration.
Watch out for
- Large aircraft engine modification program. Production kits for a bomber engine replacement program is likely a major prime effort, hard for a small business to take on except perhaps as a subcontractor.
- Controlled technical data access. Drawings and key documents are restricted, so you cannot see the full requirements without DD Form 2345 and JCP registration, and each request takes time.
In order to receive any technical data related to this acquisition, offerors must send an email request to the Contracting Officer
- No proposals accepted yet. This is a draft stage; the final solicitation, requirements and dates may change.
No proposals will be accepted at this time.
