Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Cyrus Hakimi, a sole proprietor in North Carolina, who operates FedReady ("FedReady," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using FedReady, you agree to them. If you use FedReady for a business, you agree for that business too. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your information.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms.
• Give us accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

What FedReady is, and isn't

FedReady helps small businesses find, track, and prepare bids for federal contracts. FedReady is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to SAM.gov, the General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, or any government agency.

Contract, award, subcontract, and registration information in FedReady comes from public government data on SAM.gov and USAspending.gov. That data can be incomplete, late, or wrong, and we may show it in summarized form. Always check the official notice on SAM.gov before you bid, especially deadlines and requirements. We don't guarantee that you'll find, bid on, or win any contract, and nothing in FedReady is legal, tax, accounting, or contracting advice.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to summarize notices, judge fit, draft proposal text, and suggest profile answers. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, even when it sounds confident. Review and edit anything FedReady writes before you rely on it or send it to anyone. You're responsible for everything you submit to the government. Making false statements in a proposal or registration can break the law, so never submit a claim you can't back up. To produce AI output, we send the relevant content (such as a notice, your business profile, or a website you give us) to our AI provider, as described in the privacy policy.

Plans, trial, and billing

• FedReady has a Free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Pro + AI, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are $49/month or $490/year for Pro, and $149/month or $1,490/year for Pro + AI. What each plan includes, and its monthly limits (such as AI briefs and drafts), is on the pricing section of our home page and on your Plan & billing page. Monthly limits reset on the 1st of each month.
• New accounts get 14 days of Pro free, with no card needed. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe. Pro + AI has no free trial and is charged when you subscribe.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and your card is charged the plan's price at that time until you cancel.
• If we change a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription. Prices don't include taxes. Where we're required to collect sales tax, we'll add it at checkout.
• When you switch plans, Stripe prorates the difference for the rest of the period. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it still can't be collected, your account moves to the Free plan.

Canceling and refunds

• You can cancel anytime from Plan & billing (Manage billing). Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the Free plan.
• Payments are non-refundable. We don't give refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or unused limits, except when we've charged you in error or when the law requires it. If you think a charge is wrong, email us within 60 days.
• Moving to the Free plan doesn't delete your work. Saved opportunities, documents, and projects stay, but paid tools and limits above the Free plan's (for example, more than 2 active bids) are no longer available.

Your content

You own what you put into FedReady: your business profile, notes, documents, proposals, and contacts. You give us permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to run FedReady for you, including sending it to the service providers that help us do that. If you publish a public company profile, you're also letting us show it publicly until you unpublish it. Only add content you have the right to use, including other people's work contact details.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use FedReady for anything illegal, fraudulent, or misleading, including to misrepresent your business to the government.
• Share your account, or resell or bulk-copy FedReady's data or features.
• Scrape FedReady, overload it, get around its limits, or try to break its security.
• Upload malware, or content you don't have the right to share.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Changes to FedReady

We're improving FedReady all the time, so features may change, and we may add, change, or retire them. If a change takes away something central to a paid plan you're on, we'll tell you, and you can cancel.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

FedReady is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that its data or AI output is accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost contracts, missed deadlines, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about FedReady is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.

Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in Account settings. Deleting it cancels any subscription right away and removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on your content, disclaimers and liability, and governing law still apply after an account ends.

Governing law

North Carolina law governs these terms, apart from its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and email account holders before the change takes effect. If you keep using FedReady after that, the new terms apply.
