The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) in Maryland is posting updates on its planned MAPS acquisition and a January 28th industry day. This is an announcement, not a formal solicitation for proposals. The Government says it will release another draft and a final RFP, with a new timeline to come.
Watch out for
- Not a solicitation yet. There is nothing to bid on right now; the real requirements will be in a later draft and final RFP.
This announcement is in accordance with FAR 15.201 and does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts.
- Terms still changing. The Government says the timeline and several terms (including how large and small businesses qualify) will change, so planning now is risky.
The Government intends to release another draft and final RFP within this next quarter.
- Answers are non-binding. Q&A answers can change, so only the final solicitation language counts.
Always rely on the solicitation language.
