Small businesses in Colorado, with primary NAICS code 541715 (Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology)), by federal contract dollars
Ranked by federal prime contract dollars as a small business since FY2024 (USAspending.gov, as of Nov 5, 2026). The 50 with the most dollars are shown; add a filter to narrow the list.
How these are ranked
Prime contract dollars since fiscal year 2024 on contracts where USAspending.gov counts the firm as a small business. “Small” is set per NAICS code: these firms are registered small under their primary code (or SBA-certified). Firms that hold small business subcontracting plans, which only businesses that aren't small file, or have $1 billion or more in these contracts are left out. A profile's yearly totals count all of its prime contracts, so they can be higher.
