Things to watch
- Sources sought only - not an offer request. Proposals are not being accepted; this notice is market research, and responding does not secure a place in the later competition.
Proposals are NOT being
- Set-aside not decided. The NPS will decide on a small business set-aside based on how many qualified businesses respond, so a response helps shape whether small businesses get a set-aside.
The amount of interest or lack
- Historic building with hazardous materials. Work on a historic structure with lead paint and asbestos needs preservation experience and abatement capability, and invasive treatments are treated as an Adverse Effect.
Older paint coatings on the building interior
- Bonding capacity needed. Bid, performance and payment bonds are anticipated, and you must state your bonding capacity in the response.
This project will require insurance and Performance and Payment Bonds.
- Park open during construction; winter work possible. The work must be scheduled to limit visitor impact and may extend into winter within a 365-day period.
Winter construction may be required.
- Questionnaire refers to a different city. The questionnaire asks about licensing and permitting for Birmingham, Alabama, but the project is in Anniston, Alabama; confirm which applies.
How does your firm intend on complying with local construction building licensing and permitting for Birmingham, Alabama?
