The Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District, with Macomb County Public Works, wants a contractor to build a new 9-Mile Pump Station in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. It is a firm-fixed-price construction contract with an 880-day period of performance, meant to reduce flooding and protect Lake St. Clair water quality.
Watch out for
- Long, complex construction job. An 880-day pump station build is a large civil project that likely needs significant bonding, equipment and experience.
Operating under an 880-day Period of Performance
- Multiple amendments and changing dates. The bid inquiry was closed and reopened across three amendments, so the dates and documents may have changed and need careful checking.
Amendment 0003 is being issued on September 24, 2026.
