The Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is running a market survey (sources sought) to see if enough small businesses exist to set aside a future project: a new two-story secure laboratory and research facility at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Estimated cost is $25 million to $50 million with about 840 calendar days of work. This is not a solicitation; responses go through an online survey form.
Watch out for
- Large, specialized construction. A $25M to $50M building with ICD 705 secure space and RF shielding takes strong bonding capacity and similar past experience.
The estimated cost range is between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000.
- Bonding documentation required. You must show your single and aggregate bond limits just to respond to the survey.
- Prime experience needed. Example projects must be ones where you were the prime, with at least 15 percent self-performed, so subcontractor-only experience may not count.
Must be at least 15% selfperformed.
- Sources sought only. This is market research, not a solicitation, and responding does not guarantee you can bid later.
This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government.
