AI summary Beta
The VA's Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System plans to buy construction work to install catwalks and safety railings for aboveground fuel tanks in Biloxi, Mississippi (project 520-27-102). This is only an advance notice, not a request for proposals; it is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000.
Watch out for
- Bid bond required. A bid bond is a surety guarantee that can be hard for a small business to get.
This project will require a Bid Bond.
- Missing certification means no evaluation. Leaving out the VAAR 852.219-75 certification makes the offer ineligible.
Failure to provide this certification will deem the contractor ineligible for evaluation and award.
- Single site visit. Only one site visit is offered, with no make-up visits, so a missed date cannot be recovered.
Only one Site Visit will be conducted and no requests for additional Site Visits or make-up Site Visits will be granted.
- Solicitation date looks inconsistent. The notice says the RFP comes on or around 09/30/2025, which does not match the 2026 posting, so watch SAM.gov for the real release.
will be issued on or around 09/30/2025 on SAM.gov
