This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Montrose VA Medical Center 2094 Albany Post Rd, Montrose, NY 10548 has a requirement for asbestos abatement services in Building 3PT/ sleep study space. The project consists of the removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), including friable and non-friable materials, within an approximately 2,300-square-foot abatement area, including approximately 100 square feet of radiator heat shielding. All work performed under this contract shall comply with applicable Infection Control requirements; New York State Department of Labor regulations under 12 NYCRR Part 56 (Industrial Code Rule 56 Asbestos), governing asbestos abatement, contractor licensing, worker certification, notification, and work practices; and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA asbestos regulations (29 CFR 1926.1101) and EPA asbestos regulations (40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M), as applicable. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, equipment, services, supervision, and facilities necessary to perform and complete the asbestos abatement services detailed in this scope of work. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS Code is 562910 "Remediation Services", with a size standard of $25M. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Montrose VA Medical Center. This is not a solicitation.
