The Air Force (Tinker AFB, Oklahoma) wants a contractor to remove and replace fire sprinklers in plasma booth dust collectors and replace the fire alarm system in Building 3221. It is a two-step sealed bid: first a technical proposal with no prices, then a price bid from those found acceptable. It is open only to current Tinker AFB MACBOA holders, and the proposal due date is being updated.
Watch out for
- Limited to MACBOA holders. Only companies already on the Tinker AFB MACBOA can bid, so most small businesses are shut out.
This posting is only available to current Tinker AFB MACBOA holders with NAICS 236220
- Mandatory site visit already held. The site visit was July 28, 2026 and attendance was required to submit a proposal, so firms that missed it are out.
You must attend the site visit to be eligible to submit a proposal.
- Two-step process and moving due date. You must prepare a technical proposal, then a separate price bid, and the due date is not final.
The government is still working on RFI responses and proposal due date will be updated once the RFI responses are posted.
