Post-Award Notice for Comprehensive Encounter-level Inpatient and Hospital-based Outpatient Billing and Chargemaster Database Authority: FAR 6.302-1 – Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. On September 25, 2026, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), executed a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Premier Healthcare Solutions, Inc. This contract is for a comprehensive, longitudinal commercial healthcare database license. The dataset links encounter-level inpatient and outpatient billing, chargemaster records, microbiology laboratory results, and patient-linkable Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) data to support CDC's public health surveillance and research priorities. The total contract value, inclusive of the base period and all option periods, is $4,222,449.00. In accordance with FAR 6.305, the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) supporting this sole-source award is attached.
