The U.S. Embassy in Brussels is asking for quotes to build a Consular ABA bathroom in Brussels, Belgium. The award will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the lowest-priced acceptable quote. Quotes are due November 3, 2026 at 2:00pm and must be emailed as PDF files.
Watch out for
- Overseas construction work. The work is in Brussels, so a U.S. small business must be able to build to the embassy's requirements and handle local logistics in Belgium.
- Site visit and early deadlines. There is a site visit on October 14, 2026 with registration required 24 hours ahead, and questions are cut off on October 22, so missing these steps could hurt your quote.
The site visit will be held on October 14, 2026 at 1.00pm
- Incomplete quotes rejected. Quotes missing required parts will not be considered, and nothing is accepted after the deadline.
incomplete proposals will not be accepted
- Lowest price decides. With LPTA, price is the deciding factor once the quote is technically acceptable, so margins may be thin.
