NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic announced a presolicitation for a construction project at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. The work tears down the existing 50-lane Inchon Range and builds a new one with berms, small buildings, a parking lot and utilities.
Watch out for
- Possible unexploded ordnance. The site needs ordnance scanning and possible ordnance removal, which adds cost, safety and schedule risk.
Allowances are included for ordinance scanning of entire site, and allowance for potential ordinance removals.
- Old notice, details missing. Posted in 2016 with no deadline, contract type, value or evaluation details, so it is hard to judge fit and it is likely long past.
