Some details are in the notice's attachments, which this summary didn't read. Check the attachments on SAM.gov.
The Navy (NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, for Commander, Naval Air Force Reserve) wants technical support to run and maintain the NALCOMIS aviation supply software in a virtual environment. Only small businesses that already hold a Seaport-NxG contract can compete. It is a two-step process (Step One, then Step Two), and the notice has been amended three times.
Watch out for
- Seaport-NxG holders only. If you do not already hold a Seaport-NxG contract you cannot bid on this one.
THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY SEAPORT HOLDERS.
- Two-step process already under way. Step One evaluations are in progress, so a company that did not take part in Step One may not be able to move to Step Two.
Step One Evaluations are still in-progress and notifications will be sent via email upon completion.
- Conflicting deadline dates. The amendment text gives a Step Two deadline in 2027 while SAM.gov lists 30 October 2026, so confirm the real date with the contracting officer.
Amendment 0003 is to extend the Step Two deadline to 30 October 2027.
