NAVFAC Southwest wants one architect-engineer (A-E) firm for an IDIQ contract for encroachment management and mission readiness planning at Navy and Marine Corps installations, mainly in Navy Region Southwest but possibly worldwide. The contract has a 2-year base plus three 1-year options, with total fees capped at $30,000,000. It is open to all firms (unrestricted).
Watch out for
- Unrestricted, no small business set-aside. A small firm competes against large engineering firms for the single award.
THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT.
- Tiny guaranteed minimum. Only $1,000 is guaranteed, so you may get little or no work even if you win.
The guaranteed minimum for the contract term (including option years) is $1,000.
- Possible worldwide work. Task orders could be outside the Southwest region, which adds travel and staffing cost.
but may also include work worldwide
