The U.S. Coast Guard wants a contractor to remove the old carpet and install new carpet on the entire third floor, including hallways, of the administrative building at Base Ketchikan, Alaska. Work runs 90 days from award, which is expected in November 2026. Award goes to the lowest priced acceptable bidder, if funding comes through.

- Award depends on funding. The Coast Guard can cancel or delay the award if it does not secure funding.
EXPECT AWARD & START DATE TO BE November OF 2026.
- Question deadline already passed. The notice says the last day for questions was 25 September 2026, before it was posted, so you may not be able to ask anything.
LAST DAY TO SUBMIT ANY QUESTIONS FOR THIS REQUIRMENT IS: FRIDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER 2026.
- Remote location and key rules. Work is in Ketchikan, Alaska, on set hours, and the Coast Guard will not hand out keys to contractors, so shipping carpet and crew logistics are on you.
No keys to Government facilities are to be provided to Contractors under any circumstances.
- Scope details only in attachments. The square footage, specifications and map are in attachments, and the text has leftover carpet-cleaning wording, so the exact scope should be confirmed.
