The Army (via the Defense Health Agency) wants a contractor to provide ground ambulance services at Fort Polk, Louisiana, per a Performance Work Statement in the SF1449. Coverage must be around the clock, every day of the year. Proposals are due by email on 21 October 2026.
Watch out for
- Round-the-clock coverage. You must staff, equip and sustain ambulances every hour of every day, which is a heavy fixed cost and staffing burden.
continuous 24-hour, 7-day, 365-day emergency medical services
- Big technical proposal. Four technical subfactors plus plans, an org chart, resumes and three past performance write-ups mean a lot of proposal work.
- Late emails are rejected. Proposals are sent by email, and anything received after the deadline cannot be considered.
Proposals received after the deadline will be considered untimely and will not be eligible for award.
- Question deadline already passed. Questions were due 24 September 2026, before this notice was posted, so you may not be able to ask for clarification.
Questions are due by NLT 8:00 AM/CDT on 24 September 2026.
