The Army's contracting office at Fort Sam Houston (MICC) is seeking an 8(a) small business to provide base operations maintenance and support services at Fort Leonard Wood. The firm-fixed-price, non-personal services contract covers six functional areas, from grounds to cemetery work. Offers are due 9 November 2026.
Watch out for
- Contractor supplies all parts. You must pay for parts for both scheduled and repair maintenance work, which can make the fixed price risky if you misjudge volume.
all parts required for Preventive Maintenance Orders (PMOs) and all repair parts required for Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs)
- Large multi-trade scope. Six functional areas, including HVAC and a cemetery, mean you need broad capability or subcontractors.
- Key information still coming. The Real Property Inventory is only attached for reference, and the formal inventory and Q&A will come by amendment.
The inventory will be officially attached to the solicitation via an amendment at the same time as the amendment for the Q&A.
