Watch out for
- Notice is from 2019. It was posted in May 2019 and expected an RFP in June 2019, so the opportunity is probably closed or replaced.
It is anticipated the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov between June 4, 2019 and June 6, 2019.
- Top Secret clearance for guards. Getting Top Secret clearances for a large guard force is slow and demanding for a small business.
A Top Secret Clearance is required prior to the date and time established for PSOs to begin standing posts.
- Very large guard workload. Nearly two million service hours over 66 months means a big workforce, payroll and scheduling load.
1,944,250 hours for a 66-month period
- Full and open competition. No small business set-aside, so you compete with larger guard companies.
This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition.
