Required delivery is 390 days, to any facility in the continental U.S. The solicitation was tentatively scheduled for release 21 September 2026.
Watch out for
- Critical application item. Critical application items usually come with tighter quality and approval requirements, which may mean extra testing or source approval.
CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM; HIGHER-LEVEL QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
- Possible reverse auction. A reverse auction pushes prices down, so margins can be thin.
This solicitation includes Procurement Notice L09, Reverse Auction.
- Long delivery period and nonstandard submission. Delivery is 390 days, and proposals go to a Bid Custodian rather than electronically through DIBBS.
Electronic (DIBBS) proposals/quotes are unacceptable.
