AI summary Beta
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support plans to buy 5 seal retainers (NSN 1R-5330-016951021-EY) and intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other firms may still show interest or send a proposal or capability statement, which could lead the Navy to compete the buy. Delivery is FOB origin, and terms follow an existing Basic Ordering Agreement.
Watch out for
- Sole-source intent. The Navy plans to negotiate with one source, so a new bidder has a low chance of winning unless the Government decides to compete it.
This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals.
- Ordering agreement terms. Terms are tied to a specific Basic Ordering Agreement, which a firm without that agreement may not be able to use.
All Terms and Conditions are in accordance with BOA: N0038323GSX01
