AI summary Beta
GSA is looking for office space to lease in the Central Employment Area of Washington, DC, between 27,027 and 29,729 ABOA square feet. The lease would run 15 years (10 firm), with estimated occupancy in June 2027. This is for building owners or their brokers, not a service or supply contract.
Watch out for
- Real estate lease, not a service contract. Only owners or managers of suitable buildings in a narrow DC area can offer, so most small service or supply businesses cannot bid.
The Government is seeking expressions of interest from sources of office and related space
- Dates in the notice conflict. The response deadline field shows March 27, 2027, but the text says initial offers are due March 27, 2026; confirm the real date with the contact before relying on either.
Initial Offers Due: March 27, 2026
- Narrow location and layout rules. The Metrorail distance, first-floor public-facing space and column spacing limit which buildings qualify.
Offered space must be contiguous and located above-grade
- Not all requirements are listed. More minimum requirements exist than the notice states, so a building could be disqualified on rules you have not seen.
Not all minimum requirements are stated in this advertisement.
