AI summary Beta
GSA is looking for a building to lease in Portland, Oregon, of about 22,200 to 23,604 square feet. It must combine office, laboratory and warehouse space plus a secured yard, within a defined area of east and southeast Portland. The lease would run 20 years, with the first 15 firm.
Watch out for
- Must own or control a suitable property. This is a lease of a building, so only a property owner or landlord with a matching site in the area can offer.
- Specialized laboratory build-out. The building must support fume hoods, a hydrogen-alarmed battery room and acid catch basins, which can be costly to provide.
Building must support Laboratory infrastructure
- Long lease commitment. A 20-year term with 15 years firm is a long commitment for the landlord.
Full Term: 20 years Firm Term: 15 years
- Tight area and site limits. The site must be in a defined area, outside the Superfund site and floodplain, with yard geometry for large trailers.
Yard must be secured by a controlled access gate.
