This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list
- Seasonal site access. The site road is closed in winter, which limits when work can happen.
The contract site can be accessed via paved roads during the spring, summer, and autumn, but is closed during winter months.
- Tight working conditions and live radio site. The old tower is within 10 feet of the radio building and the tower carries antennas for several agencies, so removal and re-installation must be done carefully.
The existing 80-ft radio tower is located within 10 feet of the radio building.
- Bonding capacity required. Small construction firms must show they can get bonded even on a project of this size.
Proof of bonding capability is required.
