AI summary Beta
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia plans to repair 5 hydraulic accumulators (NSN 7R 1650 011589683) for a foreign military sale. The Navy intends a sole source award under an existing basic ordering agreement. Other firms can only be considered if they are, or become, an approved source.
Watch out for
- Sole source intent. The Navy plans to award to the current source, so a new bidder is unlikely to win.
NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis under an already established BOA.
- Source approval required. Approval of a new source usually takes longer than the award timeline, and incomplete data means no consideration.
These items require Government Source Approval prior to the award.
- Limited technical data. The government says it lacks enough data to contract with anyone but the current source.
The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with other than the current source.
