The U.S. Coast Guard wants a contractor to remove old carpet and install new carpet on the entire third floor of the administrative building at Base Ketchikan, Alaska. Work lasts 90 calendar days from award, expected in November 2026, and depends on funding. Offers are due October 30, 2026.
Watch out for
- Award depends on funding. The Coast Guard may not award if funding is not secured, so bid effort may be wasted.

- Remote Alaska location. Shipping carpet and crews to Ketchikan can raise costs for a small business not already based nearby.
- Square footage and specs only in attachments. The carpet specifications, square footage and map are in attachments, so pricing needs those first.
