The delivery location is Allatoona Dam, Allatoona Dam Road SE, Cartersville, GA 30121. The anticipated delivery date/timeframe is Summer 2027. The Statement of Work includes the following: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, requires a fabricate and deliver contract to manufacture eight (8) new replacement cast steel sluice gates for the Allatoona Dam in Cartersville, Georgia. The contractor will be responsible for casting, machining, testing, and delivering new gates that match the existing gate dimensions of five-foot and eight-inches wide by ten-foot and zero inches high (as-builts attached for reference only). Due to the intricate structural ribbing and variable cross-sectional thicknesses of the original design, the new gates require highly complex casting to ensure proper form, fit, and function within the dams existing embedded infrastructure.
