AI summary Beta
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (Navy) wants to buy 1 each of a logic assembly (LOG ASSY, VME, DIU, NSN 9535 LLCYC2615, ref. 63E920411G1, CAGE 16331). The Navy does not own the drawings or data rights, and this is a first-time buy under Emergency Acquisition Authority. Quote a firm fixed price.
Watch out for
- No government drawings or data rights. The Navy does not own the data, so you must supply the exact OEM part and prove traceability.
The Government does not own the drawings or data rights to this NSN.
- Government source inspection. DCMA must inspect and accept at the source before shipping, which adds scheduling and cost for a small supplier.
Government-Source Inspection and Acceptance (G-S I&A) is required.
- First-time buy needs cost proof. Because the Navy has not bought this before, you must show an informal cost breakdown or redacted sales receipt.
DUE TO BEING A FIRST TIME PROCUREMENT BY THE NAVY
- Emergency Acquisition Authority. The order is rushed under emergency authority, so timelines are short.
This order will be issued pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Authority (EAA).
