Some details are in the notice's attachments, which this summary didn't read. Check the attachments on SAM.gov.
DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) plans a long-term firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract covering 89 NSNs of C-5 aircraft seals. Sources must be on the Qualified Sources List or get qualified before award. The solicitation is expected around December 1, 2026.
Watch out for
- Qualified Sources List requirement. Qualification of seals for aircraft can be slow and costly, and must be done before award.
Potential sources must either be on the ESA's Qualified Sources List (QSL) or gain ESA qualification before contract award.
- Large bundle of 89 NSNs. A big part count in one action can be hard for a small shop to cover.
A total of 89 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort.
- NSN list is attached. The list of NSNs is not in the text, so you cannot see which parts are included.
The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action.
