AI summary Beta
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Louis District is checking whether landlords can lease it at least 77,000 rentable square feet of fully serviced Class A/B office space in the St. Louis area. This is an early interest check (presolicitation), not yet a request for offers. The lease would be a twenty-year term made of one firm year plus 19 one-year options.
Watch out for
- Real estate, not a service or product contract. Only property owners or lessors with large, suitable buildings can respond, so most small contractors cannot compete.
- Very long lease with only one firm year. The Government is only committed for one year, so the 19 options carry risk for someone investing in a build-to-suit building.
